Brian Mann

The list of artists, agencies and producers Brian has worked with may seem endless, but it's mostly because he's really old. Well, he likes to think so. We think he's still quite young and hip. Well, young anyway. We won't bore you with the list, ...well maybe just a few. The artists Brian has recorded, toured, performed, and collaborated with include: Kenny Loggins, Michael MacDonald, David Lee Roth, Olivia Newton-John, Larry Carlton, , Robben Ford, B B King, KD Lang, Denice Williams, Luther Vandross, Oingo Boingo, Dave Koz, Michael Brecker, and Michael Jackson (before the trouble) .................... ( more complete discography)
But that's not all! Brian's a classical dude. He plays Chopin and Bach, has a real music degree, he studied at USC and Cal State Fullerton and elsewhere and knows which end of a baton to hold. You'll hear a lot of Brian's work on this site. Work for PBS and the Discovery Channel, for Advertising clients like: Honda, Acura, Mazda, Marsh Grocery Stores, PG & E and quite a few others, you see Brian has been answering the clarion call of advertising as well.
With his saintly partner Craig, the dynamic duo of Mann & Dobbin, or Dobbin & Mann (PostScore Music) have been scoring TV shows and films and more commercials, writing songs and producing artists, and generally taking the world by storm, or so we'd have you believe.
Well, Brian has won a number of Gold and Platinum Records, Sunny, Ady, Belden and Silver and Golden Mic awards. His 1990 Narada release, "Café du Soleil" received a lot of critical acclaim and is still played worldwide. But besides all that, Brian, despite being so wickedly talented and good looking, is really a pretty nice guy, has three grown kids, who play baseball, play in bands, do web sites, better than this one, edit and produce shows like "The Bachelor", work for Directors like David Lynch and Alexander Payne, and throw the javelin(below). He's also very happily married, sorry girls, and plays a mean accordion.
